INTEGER SITUATIONS
After the pre-test yesterday we began talking about Integers. Below is a copy of what page 27 and 28 should look like. The list of keywords may differ if students continued adding to their list. This list will be handy for students today in class.

WEEKLY HOMEWORK #4
Here is the homework for the week. Remember all problems are important. The ones that will be recorded for a grade are the grey problems only. I do this because some of the others have not been covered yet.
DECIMAL OPERATIONS REVIEW (TEST TOMORROW)
Today we used this particular Jeopardy game I found online to help in our review time for our test over decimal operations. The students were divided into 4 teams at random. They had no idea whose team they were on until the reveal at the end of the block. All students were randomly by my iPad to come play. I like playing this way because students are working for themselves and not relying on teammates to get them points.

DIVIDING DECIMALS - WALKING NOTES
Today in class to make taking notes a bit more engaging everyone had their clipboard ready. Below is a completed version. Students were given a black paper and had to venture around the classroom to write down all the notes. These are snapshots of what they saw in the room. This grid is taped in their math notebooks on page 25.
After completing the notes everyone practiced the following problems on page 26 of their notebook. Sorry they are sideways. After working they were to come to the board and check their answers.
