Ratio Practice Games

Ratios & Unit Rate Games

Proportions Games

RATES & UNIT RATES

From our video last week we learned that RATES are comparison of two completely different objects like distance and time.

We quickly discussed situations where we hear about RATES. Students shared mph (miles per hour), bpm (beats per minute), and other situations where the word per is used.

PER suggest the comparison to 1 unit.

EQUIVALENT RATIOS

Had all the kiddos start the class period creating equivalent fractions for the bell ringer. After the review of writing a ratio they quickly figured out that equivalent fractions and equivalent ratios are the same thing!!!!

AWESOME!!!!

Students quickly finished this assignment

Are We On Target

Giving the kiddos a quick assessment as we start the week.

On a note card create a ratio to compare vowels to consonants in the alphabet.

*additional practice will be given to students who do not show mastery of this target
