TODAY IN CLASS

Today in class we took a practice test to see how well everyone will do on the upcoming test. I can see that we still need to work on surface area. I also saw that many students have forgotten how to work with fractions especially without a calculator. So tonight the homework assignment is all review.

A LITTLE MORE.....

While everyone is finishing up their test from Friday, everyone is going to be completing a Problem Solving activity on Page 509. The problem solving strategy being used is "LOOK BACK" this is a very important tool for all students. In this exercise do the following.

  1. Write all the problems
  2. Underline any important/useful/necessary information
  3. Make sure the solution that is given is correct. If it is not given, be sure to give the correct solution and show your work.
